I loved my stay as it offered quick access to Whetmead Nature Reserve just under 4 km away and the beautiful Heybridge Basin, which is about 5 km away. it made weekend walks delightful and invigorating, providing the perfect blend of urban and nature exploration.

Nice stay for a family bash

We were there for a family birthday party. The staff were super friendly and worked hard. My room was comfy, but it could’ve used a little better cleaning—def a smoke odor in one room! The breakfast was yummy. Lunch was also really good, especially that unusual starter with poached pear and stilton. The tea supplies were a bit scarce, though.

It was just a great fit for a brief sojourn in Great Totham with good price value. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Make sure to check the shower settings carefully before use.
